I get a DOUBLE DOSE of the Crying room. The first is of course on Aruba, the second is on Curacao where I have to connect for my flight back to Trinidad. The boarding gate for my return flight is often the same gate where I boarded for Aruba and I am forced to listen to and witness as a next batch of visitors to My One Happy Island cue up and board their flight while I am still waiting for my flight. To beat the blues I go over to the Sports Bar for a bite to eat, their burgers and fries are excellent. I stay there fora good while, slowly eating and watching whatever is on their huge flat screen tv, wander around the departure area, go through the two souvenir shops to pick up some additional items to take back for family and friends before returning to my boarding gate to duck into the pages of a book or pull out my notebook and begin to make plans for the next trip. Everything from budget, when to book accommodations and flight is jotted down, by the time I am ready to board I have close to three pages in blue gel ink of notes, numbers and diagrams.
I don't remember that part of the trip, exhausted at that point
But i DO remember arriving on Aruba, and pointing out the departure area to my wife
forget about the seeing the arriving people.Take in the Dutch bar or the Tiki bar have a few Brights or Balash"s and and God willing look forward to next year.Paul

Nope, and nope. Actually I am to lazy to do it and not creative enough. Crying room T- Shirts with something bright and cheerful on the front as Aruba welcomes you, and something not so cheerful on the back with references to the crying room...
