After reading all of the wonderful posts out here, we were pretty sure we knew what we were getting into when we arrived on March 7th. I now understand that words and reassurances just don't do this place justice. Like everyone we talked to and every conversation we overheard...this is now our favorite place. There are others like Charles who can provide a wealth of information on the island so I won't presume to provide anything of that nature. Just go! Go now and plan on go often. We loved the island for many reasons but mostly because we fell in love with the people. The sand, sun and surf were expected. The people are geniune, open and we miss them already. It isn't "Will we buy a timeshare?", it's "What timeshare will we buy and how soon can we get it done?"

I hear you on that.. I went for the first time last year and stayed at the divi dutch village. I've been on several cruises, many islands but never had as much fun as I did being on that island. I'm going again in a few months, and now I am starting to count down the days again!!!!! I think I may be a lifer!

Shelley You found what I found. We got back the 5th. from our first visit and my heart ackes. That would be weird to read if you hadn't been their. If we all took a piece of the Aruba people and way of life along with the tan back home with use,this world as we know it would be a better place. I will share Aruba with you.Ha<BigPapa>

Just curious. For those of you that travel to Aruba every year, do you also travel to any other places or only to Aruba? Do you travel frequently or just love Aruba that much?

Fiance & I will be spending our honeymoon in Aruba in May & from the postings are ready to return on our anniversary before we have even been the first time.

After three years in a row to Aruba we took a year off and went to the Atlantis. Not a bad place but all the time we were there we kept saying we wish we had gone to Aruba instead. Atlantis couldn't compare in my book and we sure spent alot more. Guess where we are going this year.

in between aruba, every november, which is our first love, we go to florida and charleston, south carolina for golf and r&r. we also try to head up to saratoga, new york at least 2 or 3 times a year. especially in august for the travis cup at the raceway.

John Idid the cruise thing for about 6 years then 3years ago my sister invited us to her time share at the Caribbean Palm Village we were hooked when they called to invite us to the sales thing I had already made up my mind. this year we found out we could get our same unit for the following week I arrived in the sales office with pen in hand 2 weeks on that beautiful Island every year for the rest of my life (I'm smiling right now) gives me something to look forward to every year I start counting the days from the time I return home to the day I leave. Trust me you'll love it there.

We can't wait to get there. We wanted to go somewhere wonderful for our honeymoon and it sounds like we made the right choice. Maybe we will one day be on this bb saying we are going back for our 20th visit. That is our plan anyway!!
