I was in Aruba in February for 3 weeks and low and behold my March and April bill with Verizon had about $700.00 roaming charges.Price was not exactly how it was explained to me but after many trips to Verizon they credited me $100 because all the calls to my voice mail which I could not get.I was not a happy person.Live and learn

I bought a cell phone from Setar quite a few years ago. It cost about $90. and has been well worth it. We just load it with a GSM card when we arrive and add more time if needed.

Bring an unlocked cell phone and purchase a sim card upon arriving on the island.
