It took years and years to finish that building
when it was finally done we had high hopes for new restaurants, shops and supposed condo's
that restaurant that was mentioned was really good

now, its a big ole nothing
    what a shame!

this building originally belonged to the Harms family when it was in its planing stages with some minor construction. It was sold to an investment team that was fronted by Sean and Paul (jewelers) and funded by a gentleman name Mr. Gordon. The amount of funding moneys borrowed were colossal. The architect Bert Kampsteeg was asked to design a top notch condominium building that would have super units and appeal to the "In-Crowd." He did just that and the initial plans were excellent. I was asked to do the pricing and marketing as well as to function as the Director. My condition was that the building not be used as a Jewelry center since that would ruin the condominium concept flow. All agreed. (YEAH SURE)

I resigned, Bert resigned and the legal team that was trying to help them pulled back. The businesses that were already in the building had to suffer the consequences.. It is a classic case of trying to be an expert at what you're not.

That is the real down and dirty.

I knew you would have some info. What does the future hold for the building? Is it a safe building?
