Does anyone know what nights the Black Hog does the bbq now?

Last June it was Tues, Thursday and Sundays.
In October it was only 2 nights.


Also, I've done the Kukoo Kunuku bus a couple times and was thinking of doing the bannana bus. I loved the kukoo bus but really was thinking of trying something new and didn't really care for the dinner.

Has anyone done both? will I be disappointed with the banana bus?

Go to balckhogsaloon.com. All the info you need re the bbq is there. You supposedly can make reservations on line. I have tried to do this twice this week but still haven't heard anything back. Has anyone reserved on line? How long does it take to get confirmation??

After the first two times, the Black hog saloon became boring. It was a different kind of entertainment with the bikers, at first, but then just became a very noisy night.

However, as you said and seem to know, the banana bus is almost as great as the KK bus without the food. Price with your call in reservation is only $34. This includes five or six drinks on the bus, Aruba arriba's and balashi beers, plus drinks at four bar stops, including Carlos and Charlie's. Also, the back of the bus has removed some seats so you can also dance. Try the "pole" dancing. You leave later after 8PM but get home later about 1AM. Two weeks ago, I went on both bus rides and enjoyed them immensely. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS "AVAILABILITY" . THE BUS GOES PRIVATE ON THE WEEKENDS !!! Your best chnace to get it going is to call for a Tuesday, Wednesday or thursday night. I got lucky, I convinced him to go out with only 8 people, four from my group. We still had a blast and also got very "drunk". So be careful not to drink to much if there are only a few on your trip. Call from the USA if you want. The number is 011-297-9930757. Yes, the bus trips are only adults. Some young and some " old party " folks like myself. Again, this trips are strictly for adults since they only stop at local bars.

Previously, some parents have bought their children to the "Saloon", but quickly realized that it wasn't appropriate for them. As long as you pay, the Saloon will not turn away children.

We're thinking of doing both on our honeymoon in July/August. We've done the Kukoo Kunuku already and LOVE it. We were actually considering doing it twice in the two weeks we'll be there, but then found the Banana Bus. It's worth a try, right?

the black hog to me.. left alot to be desired but then again i m not into roaring loud bikes and one smoke burn after another
