my experience with another aruba dog who looks MUCH like Casey is ....that the pup will grow to be about 35 lbs about the size of a tall beagle
and they do tolerate the cold well.

Casey is a 4 month old blind puppy. He was left near the car rental agency. He is a very sweet, good boy. He is smart too. Casey needs a special home because of his blindness. He has been checked by the vet here in Aruba and has had his first vaccinations and rabies. Holy Crap...that makes my heart break...will talk to Dh about it, but with 5 of our own I do not know if the chances are good...hopefully someone will read this and open their hearts to take him....

i understand about poor odds of adopting another pet.
the place where we hope to move has a combined pet weight limit of 30 lbs.
..........so we have a 12 lb cat and a 19 lb dog.
................when we move in, i hope they do not do a weigh in.

this pup is a sweety pie.

If you end up needing some help, my wife volunteers at a no-kill shelter here. We have too many critters right now or we would consider it.

My prayers go out to the little fellow that he finds a loving
home in the US.

The resources for animals on the island are pretty scarce and
the best turnout would be if someone would adopt him.

What happens if they gain weight???
So, I asked Dh and all he kept saying was...no...I hope there is someone out there that has room and the ability to take him in.....
