First timer going to aruba and i need bottled water for health reasons for medication and what not. I have heard the drinking water is very clean there but i was just wondering if they had, something bottled to take to the beach and shopping. Thanks for your help.

Re: bottled water!

Lori,
The Balashi Beer Plant also makes one of the most popular waters on the island. It is called AWA. It is the only one we use because it is very clean tasting and has no after odor from the bottle.

Hi Lori!

You can purchase bottled water at the hotels, supermarkets, etc.

Re: bottled water!

Just so you know the island has the world's second largest desalinazation plant - the largest being in Saudi Arabia. They purify sea water and it is the best water we have ever had. Would love to bring it home with us. My wife has lots of medical problems and takes lots of meds and uses the tap water with no problem, but if you need bottled water there is plenty in any of the larger supermarkets. There will be bottled water in the hotel shops, but it will be quite a bit more expensive, so stop at the supermarket and get what you need.

Bring a couple of bottles with you

Bring a couple of bottles with you and just fill them up every day. The water in Aruba is no doubt better than most in the States.
If your room does not have a frig to get it cold at night just ask the beach bar to fill them. A little tip to them is better than buying bottles every day. Or just ask beach bar for a cup of ice water. I do it all the time and throw a tip in the tip jar. I say cup as usually around pools they do not serve drinks in glass.

Re: bottled water!

We have terrific water where I am, with no chemical taste at all, and water in Aruba is at least as good, if not better.

Re: bottled water!

I agree with Tom - either buy a couple bottled waters and keep them filled with tap water. I bring a thermal mega mug from home and always have ice water on hand when I go to the beach. it is very hot and you need to drink plenty of water through out the day.
Just go and enjoy
