Can anyone that has stayed @ the Bucuti shed some light as far ar the beach goes. Is it a nice beach, is it similar to the high rise area? Also, where is it exactly situated, what other hotels is it near.
I have stayed at the Wyndham & the Divi Divi. Looking for a change.

i have been staying at the bucuti for over 20 years. u can't get better than this. the beach is the best on the island and i know that for sure. no, it is not similar to the highrise area...it is much wider and cleaner. i have stayed at the highrise section and it is not as nice as bucuti beach. it is about 3 hotels down from the divi between the manchebo beach hotel and the costa linda. believe me.. u can't do better.

Have stayed at Bucuti every year for the past 14 and have reservations for this year, so you might say we like it. The beach (Eagle Beach) is great, the hotel has plenty of palapas so you don't have to worry about getting one. The beach has eroded some due to wave action in the last year or so but is still wide enuf. The Bucuti is right next door to the Manchebo on one side and Costa Linda on the other. It is a quiet hotel that caters to adults altho we have sometimes seen families there. If that suits you,that is the place to go, you wont regret it.

I agree Eagle Beach is the best beach in Aruba.

Just got back from staying at the Bucutti. I walked along the entire length of the coast where there are hotels (starting at one end of the low rises all the way to the other end of the high rises) and have to say the Bucutti is the best in terms of both size (the biggest) and quietness (least number of people per area) and attractiveness.
