Bugaloe is a mess from waves

Even though Matthew has left Aruba, the waves have been relentless. Bugaloe took a severe beating over the last couple of days. They said they will be closed "until further notice" since alot of repair work needs to be completed.

    that is such a shame
as you said they took a severe beating.....and they worked so hard to repair the original damage from the initial Matthew hit.
i know we wish them all well.
    thanks amy

I saw videos; sad to see. Many people don't realize that the sea stays "angry" even after a storm has moved on.

dam n....I mentioned Bugaloe on a previous message yesterday but I only had pictures of the inside. Did not realize it was surrounded by water....wonder where they will take the DePalm Pleasure catamaran out of for the snorkel tours ??? Went on it once out of DePalm Island because of damage to Bugle and did not like the snorkeling at all....was planning on doing tour again,,,,will wait and see.......

I've seen video on Facebook & it's not good. The waves are constantly smashing into the floor that it's causing the floor boards to rip off. Sea grass everywhere. Let's hope it's not too bad and they can get up and running soon.

Looking a little better today, employees are hard at work trying to get it back to normal. Here's the link, the video is the top post right now. You should be able to see it, even if not on FAcebook.
