Bugs are hardly an issue in aruba as far as I know. Iguanas and goats are about it!! ha ha

Re: Bugs ?

TONY, you forgot to mention that the Iguanas eat bugs.

Want bugs? Go to Costa Rica. It a "garden of Eden" for the insect world. Aruba is relatively bug free. Probably will see more bugs walking down a New York sidewalk than you will see on Aruba.

Re: Bugs ?

Hi,

We stayed at the Radisson in Aruba in September of 2004. Just before we arrived in Aruba, I was told that Aruba had gotten some rain (leftover from the many hurricanes). While I was there, I had gotten bit quite a few times on both of my legs. However, I was told that Aruba hardly ever had mosquito problems (only when they get a small amount of rainfall)! I still have scars on my legs from the bites! I would do it all over again!!

Re: Bugs ?

Out of our last five trips I had a mosquito problem only once - after a rainfall.
