Bugs?
Just wondering about bugs on the island... You know... the relentless, carniverous kind! I'm used to more plush caribbean destinations and wondered if the desert environment would minimize major bug problems?

No - there are mosquitoes around - don't kid yourself. They find
my husband and a friend very tasty and they are getting bitten. So if you are "one of those tasty" people - bring some bug spray. Also depends where you are on the island - near a mangrove? Bring the spray. Actually - bring something purse sized because you never know where those little buggers like to hang out!
