So I guess it caught on fire last night and is no more. Is it an insurance scam??? People are already talking...

terrible news about the fire

they closed months ago and last i heard it was going on the auction block.
our community forum member friends tom and karen live pretty close to the place.
i wonder if they were able to see the blaze?
sad knowing how that complex was a "staple" to the aruba we all started out with.....

I'm sure they could see it the blaze was huge! They closed months ago. 24ora.com has pics of the fire. Adventure Golf was the minature golf place. As far as I know they didnt file bankruptcy just yet. Thats why there is lots of talk already about it being an insurance scandle. I'll talk to my friend whom is a local firefighter and see what he has to say.

The privacy laws are completely different in Aruba than in the US. You can get all the details and the pictures from people first hand.

Our friends from Holland were driving back from the high rise hotel area to Amsterdam Manor that night....one minute it was fine and the next minutes they were looking at a ball of flames. The next morning we got up and were sitting on the balcony and it still smelled really bad, like someone was burning something (at that time we didn't know it had burned down the night before.)
