    Tours 8:30-4:45
    20-25 min long
Max 7 guests and one guide
    $5 per person
    117 steps to the top
Private sunset tours can be arraigned by reservation
Thanks, $5 is no problem but waiting for tours of 7 people at a time may be hard to deal with.

We drive up to the light house every trip for the view. It'll be nice to be able to go inside this trip, but that's if I can get the non-daredevil wife to join.

looks beautiful, but if the inside is as hot as the outside I will just wave to the people going in and then compare how much weight they lost during their short tour....I would probably loose 5 pounds of water weight !!!! (o oh..negative nancy trying to get out again !!!)

We were there the day they reopened it. Admission was free that day and was also told that after, it would be a $5 charge. Also, the 'ol caretaker's house has been renovated to a restaurant. They were putting the finishing touch painting and other misc. work on...it is beautiful up there!! I know the sunsets will be amazing!

Having climbed a lighthouse or two, a couple of things stick out in my mind. First, the views are spectacular and second it is extremely hot no matter the time of the year (at the top due to the glass). But for 8 bucks it seems like a good deal if you can get in on the sunset tour and take pictures. The website doesn't say, but if the gallery deck is open, I'd consider it.
