if you are in Aruba now, take a trip over to Eagle Beach, just north of Costa Linda.

I've been curious about this tradition. Hopefully someone who is there now will post photos. It's kind of hard to picture. Is it crowds of people on all beaches or just certain beaches?

When we were there one Easter the beach area between Rennaissance and down to Barefoot area had lots of asst huts, tents, lean two's. It was interesting that it cleared out as fast as it went up. They weren't loud or rowdy and looked like they were having fun.
i wish I had taken some pictures.

We have been there a couple of times during Easter. It is nice tradition to see. We went to Baby Beach during Easter week once. I made a wrong turn at the church on top of the hill and we ended up in a neighborhood. I pulled in to a driveway to turn around and there was a large Aloe Vera plant in the front yard. It was decorated with Easter eggs and there were stuffed rabbits placed around it. It was cool. Never seen anything like that anywhere else.

I was there for this week two years ago. It really is something to see. Constant partying, cooking, beach sports etc...... The locals really know how to live it up for the week.
Side note all of them were very friendly and asked us multiple times to come and try the food they were making when we would take our morning and night walks.

Very cool! Love the idea of making a point to spend time with family in nature.

few friends pleaded with my wife and I, spend an evening camping.
no you know what way!! have spent many hours thru the years hanging out.
can't beat fisherman huts at night, drinking, eating, dominoes and meeting extended family members and friends.
    it's just magical....
    I LOVE ARUBA!!!!!!!
