Anybody tell me if there is free wifi anywhere? Or better yet a place where
I can rent a pc to access the internet?

Also what about cell phone coverage? Do they have the major carriers or should
one buy a couple prepaids to keep in touch with each other?

there are plenty of internet cafe's all over the island.
most of the resorts have a business ctr or an internet ctr.
and there is probably a charge.

if you bring your laptop, you can buy wifi on it for approx $35 per week or $70 per month thru setar.

Starbucks at the rennaissance marketplace has WIFI, daughter lived there for 2 weeks last visit.

We leave in 2 days!!!!!! Made a reservation for a phone with Aruba Discount Cell and have a questions about calls made to this phone from home. We have T-Mobile. The plan says free incoming and outgoing calls for the plan we have. If my son calls us using his cell phone which again is T-Mobile, do we get charged on our family plan for the call he makes to this phone??

Hi, I rent from Aruba Discount Cell all the time. Free incoming/outgoing calls means it’s free only for you. You can call home and that’s included in the package you bought. If your son calls you, or anyone for that matter, they will incur charges on their phone but you won’t on your Aruba cell.

I have Tmobile too and I called them for our trip in July. The representative told me that if I put free international plan on my phones there are not any charges or fees calling the states. Also tmobile to tmobile is always free. Why are you renting?
