Hey charles any word on who will be doing the renovations, I am an out of work electrician looking to maybe go back to aruba to possibly work. What better way to stay longer, work and play, aruba is a great place to be.
I do not have the slightest idea who will be doing the work. Be sure to have your papers in order if you want to work here. They are very strong on this issue and one of our leading figures, Mrs. Trudy Hassel recently resigned due to an issue surrounding control of illegal workers.
I believe there were people from South America at the hotel when I was there last month. I believe they will be running the construction project. They were measuring and taking notes...it was interesting to watch.
Am arriving March 26th, and am nervous about the fact that it is closing for construction, will I deal with dwindeling supplies, lack of staff etc. thanks
Due to a family crisis had to cancel last week at the Brickell. Luckily , I was able to get the March 30th to April 3rd at the Allegro. In that its closing April 30th, will the grounds and services been as good as before? Will there be any downsizing in staff and accommendations for the month of April? Eighteen years ago, the Americana was my first hotel, I stayed at in Aruba and now I may be returning there for my last visit. It's been great.
