How early are we supposed to get the the airport in Aruba for the trip back to the U.S? Someone today told me 3 hours minimum. (?)

3 hours is a very good idea....you'll just miss the long lines...trust me

Especially if its a friday, Sat or Sun trust me at least 3 hours before they are very slow....and you need to go thru aruba customs then U.S customs get your bags again before you go to your gate it takes awhile and the lines are very long.

Always are there about three hours prior to flight and in February it was so crowded we got to the gate and they were already boarding our flight. Lots of crowds and lots of security.

When you depart from aruba you will go thru BOTH customs aruba and US all in aruba so you need the extra time and no lighters please.

Just got back, it was a 9 am flight got there 2 1/2 before and it was smoth, waited over an hour at gate, but then again it was a Friday too. But lots of check points, even everyone had to take shoes off at one of the points. So 3 hours on weekend afternoon flights sounds like the best thing to do!

just got back on saturday. atleast 3 hours. our bus picked us up at the hotel at 9 a.m. for a noon flight to boston. by the time we got through all the checkpoints, it was almost time to board.
