    Check your credit card benefits

I read an article in the Sunday business section that said several CC companies were discontinuing several benefits from their cards now, including Collision Damage Waver for car rentals. It was a general article with a few cards mentioned but none I carry. Still always good idea to check the coverage before you go. The article said all the CC companies were reviewing their benefits and some changes will occur in the near future. Hopefully they will notify cardholders before the changes go in effect.

Thanks... that's a great 'heads up'..... by law, the CC companies do have to notify of changes and it's always really fine print blended into the rest of the terms and conditions. I'm one that generally maintains a zero balance so I never read it all and I probably should.

    same with us CP.
Every now and again the CC company sends an update of benefits and talk of interest rates.
It goes into the shredder unread.
I guess we to should probably read

I don't read the updates either, but I always call about a week out to make sure the car insurance is still in effect.
