The Christmas lights are going up all over the island. If you arrive before the end of the season, it's worth a ride around the island to see the displays some people put up.

SanNis44 If you get a chance to visit the water tank in Sero Preto in San Nicolaas near by the Lourdes Grotto you will see the nicest christmas lights decorations in Aruba and you will have a nice view to see San Nicolaas from up a hill.

yes cindy..take a ride down to the san nicholas area, go for dinner someplace (B55 is fun and delicious) then continue on and see the lights in the neighborhoods!!

Rob is bringing his laptop so I imagine we will log in sometime. Will be at the Renn suites for 7 nites then to Westin for 2 nites..SO looking forward to it.
Looking forward to seeing all the Christmas decorations.

The decorations in the first post are on a house which is just past Flying Fishbone's. There are some pretty cool lights on the trees on the main drag when you take the turn for the low rises. I'll try to post a picture.

Visiting destinations during the holidays is great. See how the locals enjoy the great time of year. We arrived in Belgiun a few years ago during the holidays and were greeted with a wonderful outdoor holiday fair right outside the hotel. It was beautiful. I am sure Aruba's warm beaches will give chilly Belgium a good challenge!
