    Christmas Trip 2017

Traveling to Aruba this Christmas, and have never been there for that time of year. Any information on what to expect for the Christmas Holiday would be great. Thank you in advance!

It is a wonderful time to be in Aruba.
    However, everything is crowded.
    Restaurant reservations are very necessary.
Advance reservations for activities are probably necessary too. (snorkel sail, horseback riding, jeep tours etc)

I bet it will be wonderful!

Check ahead of time to see what is open. They do close stores for Boxing Day.

If you'll still be there for New Years, it is great! More fireworks than on the 4th of July in the U.S. Some of the beachfront properties shoot fireworks from the piers, and we had a wonderful time just sitting on the beach with a bottle of wine and champagne watching it all.

There was an interesting party on the Pelican Pier; everyone was wearing something white.

Christmas was fun too; we've done it twice. We arrived on Christmas Day and our kids loved the Christmas dinner of burgers from the beach bar. It was so laid back and relaxed as compared to past years at home, driving all over town on Christmas day to visit relatives trying to make everyone happy.

    I'm jealous you are going!

Hoping for a 30th anniversary trip to our favorite place.
