CindyO and Rob O are almost ready to go. 10 days and counting

We had an alarm system installed over the weekend....intruders beware! Nice feeling of comfort having that in before we go. We had thought about getting one for 20 years and finally did it.

It even tells us if there's water in the basement....let's hope we never test that!

Outdoor chores all done. Hot tub drained, lawn fertilized. Finished daughters taxes (ours done by end of January). Tomorrow will pay all April bills. About 60% packed.

Now, if my day job workload would just cooperate!

Woo Hoo! Off to a running start...

Our alarm company is coming to give us a price on an upgrade this week.

They are well worth the security even more so when you are out of the country.

Sad to say, but these are tough times.

The suitcases that are packed are lined up in the dining room. Bought one new one at Sears to "fill the gaps", and the freaking thing already broke, the top handle pulled out at 49 lbs...so back it goes. I think we are taking 6 suitcases which is a big drop for us, usually it is 8 or 9. We're trying to cut down. We laugh as we will carry down over 300 lbs of stuff.
New additions to our pack list are; small hand pump for the tubes, flasks and a Celtic's flag. For those who will be at the Renn. we are the room that hangs the Red Sox, Pat's and Celts flags off the balconey....
