Could the OIL in gulf endanger Aruba...

from the oil debacle?? Haven't seen anything on here about it so I'm wondering if I'm asking a dumb question, but they're now saying it might not be plugged until August now.

I was wondering the same thing. With hurricane season officially started, I can't imagine that some of this crap will make it's way to paradise. Such a shame . . .

HIGHLY unlikey as proven by the chart below which shows prevailing ocean currents flowing northwest from South America (Aruba).

Further proof of the currents from Aruba Lost Camera - Need Aruban Help

It is the east coast of the U.S. which would be threatened.

what a mess.....time to go green I think and leave the oil in the ground! This will break BP I think before it's over.

I'm concerned about our beautiful Hatteras Island in NC. I feel terrible for the people in the gulf and really hope it doesn't get this far. The beaches in SC are beautiful also (not to mention the ones in eastern Fla and Ga).
