What is the primary language?
Do we have to worry about any rip currents?
What is the #1 thing you must do in Aruba?

The "native" language is Papiamento but all Arubians speak English and Dutch as well. Many Arubians can add Spanish to that list.

For the most part no. There are no currents off of Palm Beach or waves either.

If you are staying along Druif Beach or Eagle Beach, there can sometimes be currents.
There can sometimes be waves.
Sometimes the water can be like a lake.

RARELY will you find rip currents on the western side of the island, the only exception being an occassional storm. Rare indeed.

EVERYDAY, along the Eastern coastline you will find waves, currents and rips. Not to mention submerged coral and rocks.

Personal preference depending on what you and your family are interested in.

The number 1 thing you must do is get in the water!! Either swim or snorkel or just float - it is warm & the best we have found!!

Thumbs up

>>> "What is the primary language?"
----- English! The Arubans are great people and have their own lanuage but speak to us in better/more English than I hear back in the States.
>>> "Do we have to worry about any rip currents?"
------ NO!
>>> "What is the #1 thing you must do in Aruba?"
------ Relax! Have a cold beer on the beach! Take a swim!
Repeat above over and over!

After a great day in the water, enjoy the sunset with your favorite cocktail by the water
