    Currency

    I work as a bartender and this year I have been tipped in Euro's a few times will I have any problem using the Euro or converting it into something I can use?

    From what I understand, most places prefer the US dollar but some will accept Euros. Sorry I cannot be more specific.

    Can't you change at the airport? Or perhaps a bank b4 you leave?

    Makes sense - every international airport has a currency exchange. They rip you off with a crappy exchange rate - but it makes sense to trade in for $ because I don't think the is widely accepted in Aruba. At $1.41 for every 1 - you make out!

    My dad has a bunch of Euros he wants to use up and did not want to take the "hit" from his local mega bank on cashing them in for USD's. He would like to know if there has been any changes to their use in Aruba?
