We used it at the beginning of December. They had given us the customs firm prior which I had filled out but they never took it. The same questions were on the passport scanner.

Just a note for people using the non-USA terminal: there's no automated passport control.

And specifically for Canadians: Terminal 1 at Pearson was a MESS Sunday night thanks to the influx of people and the "wonders" of automation. We're definitely looking into getting NEXUS and avoiding all that nonsense.

OMG, We had a total mess upon our return on Jan. 3rd!! Ridiculous lines, that is why I hate Pearson and love traveling at any airport besides this one. We have Nexus but DS's girlfriend and DS's fiance did not have nexus so we decided to go all together. New condition of becoming part of the family, fiance needs to get a nexus card! lol

We are happy that this coming trip we travel home via Washington so we can happily use our nexus card and not have to go through the mess in Toronto. I guess the question is which long line is worse, exiting Aruba or entering Toronto?
happiness is going to Aruba with your adult kids because they still want to come with their parents
