Going to Aruba on the 9th on UsAir and returning to the US on the 17th. I just found out that the implications on the new daylight savings time on Mar.11th.could create major complications for all airlines and schedules from US to international sites. This would affect my return flight home I feel as Aruba is already an hour ahead. I hope the airlines have made an adjustment but international flights could become very disruptive. Maybe I'll have to stay there until they figure it out! Oh well...

---- Not in the least. Aruba will be the same time then as the East Coast. And the airlines(the good ones) have that already built in to their schedule. They have it already figured out. Been doing it for years. No big deal. Now for those that made plane reservations many months ago please check with your airline as departure times could have changed both in the US and Aruba.
Really? Is it really going to be that much of a problem??
We are going to Aruba on the 9th as well on AA out of Boston and we come home on the 16th. I guess if there is going to be flight issues, I'd rather have it happen going home rather than on my way there!
The problem is that Day light savings time
has been moved up two weeks. The computers
can't handle the change easily. Reservations and flights are all handled by computers.
I'm sure everything will be worked out by the 12th of March.
Sure wish I were in Aruba. UM!
