I'm leaving on a Western Caribbean cruise that day. We will be going through several time zones. Should be an interesting (and confusing week). Hopefully, we'll be back from the ports in time and won't miss the ship!!

What bothers me more is getting home in the dark!!! dh leaves for work and also returns in the dark! I wonder why we really need it, and hope someday we do away with it altogether!!!

Aruba is on Atlantic Standard Time. As of 2 a.m. November 7, Aruba will be one hour ahead of Eastern Standard Time.
So if it is 8 am in New York City it will be 9 am in Aruba.

Remember for air travel, your time of departure and arrival is local to that locale.

If your flight leaves from Newark the departure time on your itinerary will be your local time in New Jersey.
The scheduled arrival time in Aruba is the time that it will be in Aruba when your plane lands.

I'm with you! I would rather deal with a little bit of darkness in the morning so I can drive home while it's still light. I absolutely HATE driving to and from work in the dark - I feel like I live in a cave! Wish they would do away with it, too!
