Dec. 7-14

We are considering taking our 3rd trip to Aruba Dec. 7-14. Can anyone please tell me what to expect as far as the crowds go? We usually travel in June and really enjoy the peace and quiet. Thanks in advance.

Send a message via Skype™ to Andrea J.
those dates............does not get much quieter that that.
crowds are down.
that is probably the very slowest of the slow season.
1 week later..........a whole different ball game.

very quiet a great time to go. you may also experience a bit more rain than in june...but typically the showers are few and fast.

Our travel agent at MCM Tours always told us it was the slowest week of the year.

Average rainfall .70 inches (20.3 inches annual) in June
Average rainfall 3.3 inches (20.3 inches annual) in December

Like Andrea said, the showers are brief. Most fall overnight and early in the morning. One year we were there for 13 days and it rained EVERY day. By 10 am the sun was out and shining brightly for the rest of the day. Only exception, one overcast day which we used to tour the island and the other, a day of off and on showers. There were plenty of dry periods in between. We made good use of the time and snorkeled a couple of different spots that day.

Go and enjoy!
