weather changes.......that being said from sept 2010 til present, aruba has seen more than its fair share of rain.

don't sweat it.
we were in aruba in december and had 1 or 2 rain out days out of 15 days.
there were days without a hint of a breeze.

my husband & I went our first time this past december. we panicked because reading about the rain. it rained one day for about 3 hours and the next afternoon and that was it. we were there 10 days, it was gorgeous. we only didn't go to the beach one day. we have booked our 2nd trip for this december again. except this time we are going for two weeks. don't worry about it. we loved it so much we are going back again. we're hooked.

when i said don't sweat it, i should have said don't worry about it.

unsure if we will be there in dec.
depends on what my son and dil are planning for christmas.......if they are with her family, then we probably will try to plan a 2 week stay but leave before christmas. my guess at this point is december is doubtful :-(

We've traveled several times in the Dec 1-15 period and only had 1 bad day. One trip it rained almost everyday but not once did the rain come after 7:30am or before midnight and we had sun filled days on the beach.

Our family was in Aruba one year 12/23/ for 13 days.

It did rain every day, but it was in the form of showers and almost always early in the morning.

11 of the days, the sun was out by 10 a.m.

The other 2 days were showery in the a.m. and then the sun peaked out in the afternoon. Made for a good break from the beach and time for snorkeling and touring.

Andrea was there and can vouch for my story.

was there and aside from brief inconvenience of being rained upon for an hr or so most days, it was a non issue.

it was a week where we prayed for a cloud now and again to block the sun's rays.
