Delay in Messages

What is with the delay in messages? It's been two days now. There has got to be a better way.

Re: Delay in Messages

I have to say that I have enjoyed this BB a great deal in the past and have benefited in the making of friends and many acquintances. That said, it almost seems as if there is a concious effort to steer those that are looking for information to the other BB's. This is a shame.

As an advertiser here, it behooves me to have a happy user-ship and a functioning board, however I am not 100% sure that this is the case at the time.

Sad

Re: Delay in Messages

I'm not particularly bothered by the delay,
however, if user's do complain it might be worthwhile for the administrator to address this issue.

Re: Delay in Messages

CC, at the top of this topic is a printed paragraph that ends with, "A new and improved message board will soon be available".

Its been over a yr. now reading that message!
I'm sure if you had some input or the ability to get this message board back on track, it would have been done by now.

Maybe some of the posters or readers here dont know that messages used to posted instantly when you hit the post key. Foul and obscene and downright base postings urged the webmaster to have all messages read and posted in 24 hrs. or less. Many times a lot less and now a lot longer.
Curious to know IF these message board people responsible for its existance really care or are worried if many of us are seeking other Aruba message boards?

Most regular readers and posters I think are jumping back and forth.
Unstandingly why.
Readers are missing good advice and are not getting their questions defined. 4 days or more is the norm. almost anymore.

We're all patient and understanding as the request is asked but an upgraded change is kinda over-due. Hope it surfaces soon....RC

Re: Delay in Messages

Greetings To All;

Yes it is a pitiful thing, No explanation, No reasons given just arbitrary and subjective censoring.

This is a real amateur BB. They post ALL kinds of crap that has NOTHING to do with Aruba. Like: a Cattery and some nut job with his world views and book boycotts. These are the most recent but it has gone on for a long time. Not likely to change since obviously they couldn't care less.

I could rant on I suppose but need to get some work done today. Have a good day everybody.

Re: Delay in Messages

charles,
What other bulletin board do you go on beside this one. I have been a "regular" for 5 years now and I am getting really tired of the long delays and as reported some of my entries not even making it on the board.
