Delta out of Atlanta

Has anyone traveled to Aruba on Delta out of Atlanta? We only have 90 minutes between flights on the way home.

Re: Delta out of Atlanta

We traveled to Aruba on Delta from Newark to Atlanta to Aruba. 90 minutes should be more than enough time. The airport is huge and we had to take a monorail to our connecting gate in Atlanta, but it moves quick. You should be fine! Enjoy your vacation to Aruba.

We flew out of NY LaGuardia to Atlanta to Aruba. Even if your arrival and departure gates are not near one another, the monorail will get you there in a very timely manner. Have a great time!

When you get to Atlanta, as soon as you get off the plane at the Delta gate that you just came off of, ask for directions to the next gate from a Delta flight attendant. I think that Atlanta airport is easy to get around. Be prepare to do some walking. You will be fine.

We traveled about 3 weeks ago. We flew into Atlanta from Indianapolis and only had an hour layover which was plenty of time. They have like monorails to get you from one terminal to another. They are easy to get to with signs everywhere. Have a great time!

Re: Delta out of Atlanta

WE had only 40 minutes to connect last Oct.....were nervous, but we made it. Our flight was on the runway waiting for a gate, 90 minutes should be fine............let the flight attendant know if there is a problem they will alert the other gate for you. Delta is pretty good. You will have to check in at the new gate , again...........so don't think you are all set if you checked in initially. I had an older birth certificate that they never questioned in Tampa, but when we made our connection in Atlanta, they gave me a hard time, as it was creased over the raised seal. I have a new one now and a passport.........just an FYI, and heads up on that one. They do make you re check in in Atlanta. Make sure your documentation is not too old or questionable.

We fly Delta all the time. Never once had a problem with connections. Atlanta airport moves very fast. They have an underground rail system that is speedy, and steep, but quick escalators that lead to terminals.

Ditto, we have been flying Delta for years and have never had a problem in Altanta. We make the connecting flight on Sunday, 8 days in sunny Aruba coming up!
