Re: dining
As an American, and human being, I am concerned for the safety of all tourists on the island of Aruba. I am also outraged at the manner in which the Holloway family and case has been handled at the hands of the Aruba authorities and having visited this island twice with my family we will NOT go back ever, there are to many other islands to visit including our own Hawaii.
The case of Natalee Holloway will have far reaching implications other than a single American high school student murdered overseas. In having traveled outside of the U.S. many times, I know that one is expected to respect a country’s culture and abide by its laws. This has not been the case of the American citizen, Natalee Holloway or her family.
If Aruba cannot ensure a judicial system, which encompasses an adequate crime investigation for Americans and all people of the world, then one needs to seriously consider why the continued economic support. All of us value human life, and given the present situation in Aruba, travel advisors need to be thoughtfully considered and issued for American’s and all other people for their well-being.
In conclusion, due to international law, the rest of the worlds hands are tied I do not support the handling of the Natalee Holloway case by Aruba officials and their incompetence and will not be supporting their economy through tourism.
