While surveying the island yesterday, I happened upon a Disney-like castle in Seroe Preto, which borders San Nicolaas. The castle is built up on a hill with a walkway that passed beside it. There are Christmas lights strung around the thing and I will have to check it out during the season when it's fully illuminated.

I found out later this is quite a famous sight to see on the island.

hahahahaha how big is this structure? hard to tell by the photos?

From the base to the top of the towers it's about 15 feet, maybe 20. Cute thing for the kids.

SanNic44, check this video on YouTube "CAS DI LUZ WEG SERO PRETO, SAN NICOLAAS" it's a big happening every year with the decoration of christmas lights, some nights they have local bands playing christmas songs.

On a side note, my husban saw a "Hidden Mickey" in some cactus ears when we were on our tour with Bully!

hahahaha so disney has found a spot in cactus in aruba!
we visit disney often in the cooler weather and always on the lookout for the hidden mickeys.
