Re: Divi All Inclusive

You will love it....lots to do- great food and the drinks flow freely...best beach you can find....have stayed there a couple of times...own at ABC now and we walk over for their incredible Buffet Breakfast...much-much better than the Hi-Rises...no elevators..nothing but "Barefoot Elegence"-you'll be pleased that you've chosen a fun place!!

Re: Divi All Inclusive

The wife and i have been going to the Divi for the past 6 years in a row. We dont even look at any other places to stay while visiting "paradise". The food and drinks are great, but we will still go into town 1-2 nights to try out several great resturants we have found since our visits. The staff at the Divi are top notch, and friendly as can be. The beach is also wonderful. We will be there Feb 27 thru March 6. Have fun, you will not regret staying at the Divi.

Re: Divi All Inclusive

March 4-11 is our week too. We have our timeshare at the new Villas at the Divi Golf and Beach resort, however, last year we got the all inclusive package which allowed us to eat and drink at the Divi all inclusive and the Tamarjin. The food is pretty decent (I would say it's a bit better at the Divi than the Tamarjin) and the drinks are very good. We ate at the restaurants two nights (you have to make reservations no more than 24 hours in advance so it might be hard to get the time you want), we at the buffet a couple of nights and we went out to our favorite restaurants two nights. There is also snack bars that sell pizza, burgers, chicken fingers, etc. any time of day. They also have shows after dinner each night.

Re: Divi All Inclusive

Good Day!!!
Hubby and I will be at the Tam durring the same dates.
Lucky you!! With your stay you can go also to the Tam, right next door, and use everything they have to offer. You can go to Tam's restruants, bars{ don't forget to go to the Bunker Bar some night at sunset). I think they offer more drinks at the Divi then the Tam, but you can go back and forth. They serve Miller Lite, Amstel, and Balashi beer. The food I think is great, from pizza from the pizza bar to different fish, or turkey, or if you don't want any of that, go into town for a steak. Catch a taxi and ask them to take you to a good steak house. Please don't forget to tip the bartender. Please don't get bent out of shape if you think you are not searved fast enough, just watch them for awhile, and you will understand why they deserve the tip. If you ask the tender by name for a drink, they enjoy the thought. The best time to get to know a bartender is durring the heat of the day, between 1 and 3, when everyone seems to hide from the sun and goes inside to rest up for the evening. Hope I helped you our and just take it easy!!! Enjoy!!

Re: Divi All Inclusive

My husband and I went to the Divi for our honeymoon in '96' and have returned 7 times. I just booked our 8th trip for this November. WE LOVE IT!!!!
You can ALWAYS find something that you like to eat as there are many options when you include the restaurants at the Divi and Tamerin.
The drinks are great;more top shelf options at the Divi vs. the Tamerin.
The people that work at the Divi are fantastic!!!!
I am sure that you will have a wonderful time. Enjoy!!

Re: Divi All Inclusive

Be sure to say hi to Willy, Randolph, Rafael, Dino, John, Melissa, and Curtis. Just a few of the AWESOME bartenders at the Divi. We were there 1/7-1/14 for our 4th trip and it always like "coming home". Enjoy your trip. Buffet food is good and plentiful. As for the a la carte restaurants, I prefer the Paparazzi at the Tam over the Red Parrot at the Divi, but to each their own.
