The honeymoon package says that it guarantees "beachside" or "oceanview" rooms. They told me that it's either a "casita" room or a room in "Vista I or II". Which would you recommend or doesn't it make a difference?

IN MY EXPERIENCE GOING THERE I WOULD SUGGEST THE BEACHSIDE ROOMS, YOU ARE CLOSER TO THE BEACH ON THE GROUND LEVEL. WE LIKE THESE ROOMS ALOT.

Take the casita/beachside.

Just steps from your door to the beach.

Depending on your preferences, you will think some vista rooms are great, some not so great.

You can't go wrong with beachside.

Definately the Beachside Casita. We'll be there thursday for our 6th visit. If you can, ask for one of the front rooms with a window, just about on the beach

The Vista II is oceanview but only on one side. See map on Divi website. The other side faces a garden and you would have to hang off the balcony to see the water. I think it is the odd numbers that face the ocean but ask before booking.( I stayed there in August but I can't remember the room number)Vista 1 is not slanted toward the ocean. I don't know about the casitas but they seem to be the same way. (We loved it at the Divi)

we had the vista I i believe (the one closer to the lobby), and thought it was a great location. havent stayed in the other rooms though... either way, i think you will be happy.

Get Visa II building room 417 419 421. Right on the beach. Your door opens to a patio and then the beach huts. Very quiet and greatly desired. Going in December for our 8th time. Enjoy...

We were there in July,and stayed on the 2nd floor of the Vista II with a beach view..it was great...I liked the location and although we had to walk a few steps to the beach, it was a great location.
Next time I would ask for the first floor so I would be that much closer to the sand and garden area.
