We have been going to the Divi Divi for the past 5 years, and would like to stay in 1 of the same rooms we stayed in before. Does anyone know who and how to contact anyone at the Divi to make this request?? Do they even honor this request? We arrive this Monday 2/27/06, is this to late to ask for this request ?? Thanks for any help.

we love it there but it doesn't pay to request ahead of time, they don't honor it. Just have to be lucky they move you when you get there...just curious..we loved the lanai bldg and the higher floors of garden bldg are great too...which rooms did you love? I always wonder about the casitas

Because you are a repeat guest to the Divi, you can get a discounted rate for the resort. We booked for this November and it was $137 daily pp AI, and then we just book our airfare.

I always book through my travel agent, but she goes right thru the Red Parrot Club. We always request to be in one of those back buildings by the back pool (garden view) and the past few times we have gone, we have been in those back buildings, but upgraded to Ocean View which is even better!!
Even if they do not have the room that you want when you arrive, they are usually pretty accomodating to move you at some point during the week if you are not satisfied.

In the past, Hubby and I have stayed at the Tam and when we are put into a building we do not like, we just ask when we check if we could move to another building. One year, we were on the next island, went to the desk, asked, and the next day they moved us to another. It's a hassle, but we wanted a ground floor room and we made the move. Enjoy!!

it may be to late, but for the most part they don't really try to go out of their way to grant requests.

i've stayed there 5 times and keep going back. though i don't have much luck getting the rooms i want.

Just got back and stayed at the Tamarijin. We were in the 25 block of rooms and it seemed kind of far from everything. We requested the next morning to be closer and we were moved with no problem whatsoever. The came took our luggage and that was it. They are very accomodating.
