I live here! I mean, there?
I think it's the same (for the most part) all over the world... Most people wish they were somewhere else! Makes sense, too much of anything is never a good thing, and wherever you live, you're bound to get stuck in routine...
That being said, there's ups and downs to living on Aruba.
Some of the main things I wish were different: Terrible grammar in "official" places, (as someone else posted) efficiency not seeming to be important many places, a lot of closeminded people (due to living on a small island, being forced to fewer perspectives) (Of course this isn't everyone here, but you'd be surprised how easy it is to find)
Some of the main things I like: Lots of different languages around, easy to meet new and interesting people near the "party" areas, it never takes too long to get anywhere since it's a small island
