Re: Documents

hey i would reccomend just getting a passport it makes everything much easier i ran in to problems last time i went because they said the seal wasnt raised on my birth cirtificate they tried to mess with us and sent us to denied boarding they wanted to make a quick dollar out of us and im sure it actually works some of the time but it didnt work for us they just issued me a pass because denied boarding said that is was a valid birth cirtificate by the year 2006 your going to need a passport to go anywhere anyway good luck

Re: Documents

It depends when you are going and where you are from. After December 31, 2005, US citizens will need a passport. Before then,US citizens need at least a birth certficate with raised seal (original) and a government issued photo ID (a driver's license will do)Best wishes on your vacation....Cheryl

Re: Documents

You need a birth certificate and photo id if you don't have a passport.

Re: Documents

just a few wks ago when we were leaving aruba my boyfriend could not find his birth certificate to leave the island. We search everywhere and could not find it. He had it when we arrived but not when we left. Luckily, they were really nice about it since he have a drivers license and didn't give him any hassel
