So late on this one, but, I vote for cheapest - especially without the fam - packing up and moving one person is easy! That leaves more cash to play

We will stay 3 nights at HI, 1 week in a master suite at Marriott Surf, 1 week in a 1 bedroom villa at Marriott Surf and 4 nights back at the HI.

I stay at the Crowne Plaza by the SEATAC airport if I have an early flight in the morning. Crowne Plaza is right across the street from the airport and has beautiful rooms and a nice bar, and they are an IHG property. It's a fairly short drive to the center of downtown.

There is no place even close for us to take a direct flight unless I drive to DC or Charlotte and I've checked the prices and it's usually cheaper with a connection for some reason. And Jayshea I agree with you on the HI beds. I'm in the Seattle area staying at a HI Express, the bed is almost as comfy as mine at home.
Three weeks?!? So jealous. I'd move quite a bit for that length of time too!

Jacki, in the end I agree that moving on my own should be easy. Every time I thought about staying at a nicer place I figured I was taking money out of my gambling budget that is pretty soft this trip...I see alot of Dunkins, burgers and pizza in my Aruba future this trip...

Aruba4ever, I am very late but I just spent the last 3 days with 3 different check in's/out's in the Orlando and lived to tell the tale? I would do just what you are doing on Aruba--you're responsible for you on this trip, so go for it! Live out of the suitcase, use the hotel toiletries, beach it or casino it during the check in/out times. Enjoy the trip!

Ok, I broke down today. I changed my hotel info, not because I thought I would hate moving but because the Ritz dropped their price by $300 per night and made it almost affordable. I am now spending a night at the Holiday inn, one at the Hyatt and 4 incredible nights at the Ritz...

I just canceled my Ritz stay for the extra days and rebooked it properly. For an extra $30 nightly I can get a package of free Breakfast and $100 daily credit, that was a big addition that I almost missed. Looks like I won't leave the property to dine, Solanio, Madero, and BLT here I come, lol.

I need to make it to a few new places this trip in my first two days or it will be another trip without trying any new restaurants. I want to try a few casual places such as Bingo and the Local Store but only time will tell.
