It is a great feeling as the excitement for me really builds up a week or 2 before we leave and I find myself smiling alot as the time gets closer. Even though our next visit isn't until July, I find myself starting to think about Aruba often thanks to all of you in this group. Thanks for all of the great postings, pictures, and reviews. It would be great to have an "Aruba party" locally. I live in Northern NJ and if there are enough people in the area who are interested it would be fun-especially if we could find some Balashi's.

Congratulations on just turning "64." I recently turned 78; but the "kid" in me still remains about many things; but, more particularly, as you described the excitement connected with returning to "Aruba," aka "Paradise," and absolutely, "One Friendly Island."

Enjoy; give us a trip report...they are always fun reading; but also stir up a bit of envy that you were there rather than we...but we always return.

Hope you enjoy the "Forum."

79 days and counting until MY Balashi. Aruba is exactly as people state in this forum--it is one happy, sunny, fun-filled vacation spot that we all cannot wait to return to. This will be our 9th time, not including the 3 cruise ship stops(they don't count-just a few hours).

I still get that wonderful "butterflies in the stomach" excited feeling too! (and I'm about to turn 64 as well!)
