A few questions for my honeymoon

We will visit Aruba for the 1st time on our honeymoon the beginning of August. I am looking for dining suggestions, and also would like to know if reservations need to be made in advance before we arrive.
We are staying at the Marriot, but I have looked into dining on the beach at sunset at the Hyatt. Any feedback on that?
Thank you for your time!!

LOTS of dining suggestions. And if I do say so myself - the best.

That was a year ago. We go back again this summer (2 weeks!!!)
Cheers,
Ellen

Re: A few questions for my honeymoon

One of the best on the island is Madamn Jennetts. Its been highly recommended here many times over recent years.
Food, atmosphere, live nice familiar U.S. music while dining is great. Call for resv. as soon as you can when you get on the island.
Outside seating is intimate and very pleasant. You can even dance to a favorite song if you please.
Many more good suggestions I'm sure will follow.
All the very best to you and yours and one last suggestion: Use a good high rated sunscreen even if you sit in the shade.

Re: A few questions for my honeymoon

we thought the flying fishbone was really really nice and romantic! it is on the other side of the island, and a 30 dollar cab ride, but we felt it was worth it! your feet are in the sand, right on the water - off the beaten track! flyingfishbone.com and you can make your reservation right online! i would recommened that!!! and go for sunset!!!!

Re: A few questions for my honeymoon

Went to El Gaucho's for my in'law's 18th anniversary and they sing right at your table. We put in a request for Elvis's "Can't Help Falling In Love With You" and it was beautiful. They were crying. Excellent steaks, we all had something different (11 of us) and everyone complimented on how it was the "best we ever had". Congrats!! Also did snorkeling on De Palm Island. My husband and I held hands while snorkeling far off the island and it was the most romantic moment of our 7 year marriage.

Re: A few questions for my honeymoon

LA TRATORIA AT THE CALIFORNIA LIGHTHOUSE.... AMAZING SUNSET AND INCREDIBLY ROMANTIC,,,FOOD WAS VERY EXCELLENT.. WE ARE FROM NY AND KNOW ITALIAN FOOD AND THIS WAS QUITE GOOD. ALSO , STAYED AT THE HYATT.... WE WITNESSED THE SUNSET DINING ..... AS WE WERE STAYING AT THE HYATT... WE CONSIDERED IT BUT SEEMED STEEP (PRICE-WISE)AND A BIT CONTRIVED.... OTHER RESTAURANTS AT SUNSET JUST SEEMED MORE "REAL"... IF THIS MAKES ANY SENSE... ANYWAY, ALL THE BEST, J
