Last night our friends are staying with us... Pinchos for dinner in about 15 minutes and then to Busters to catch Game 1 of the World Series! Go NYY!

Put $20 on the game over at the Stellaris, just to make it that much more interesting.

Cheers!

Enjoy the beach!!

We are up at Gold Coast, across from Tierra Del Sol golf course.

We spent some time down at Moomba Beach and the Surt Club Beach looked perfect.

Pinchos was great - they undercooked my wifes salmon, we let the waiter know. They brought back the salmon with 5 bonus shrimp and they gave us 2 complimentary desserts. Everything else was perfect and we will return to Pinchos soon!

Went to Busters Garage - the place was bigger than expected. We had a few beers and watched the last 4 innings of the yankees/phillies game.

We ate at "The Old Man and the Sea" last night. Most romantic ambiance of any restaurant we have ever been to, but the food was average at the best. The prices were not outrageous - so we enjoyed. The place is a bit tough to find.

Watched game 2 of the series at Moomba Beach bar - drank for 3 or 4 innings and the price was reasonable. We will probably go back there on Saturday night for game 3.

Been lazy today - we are hanging by the pool. Might go downtown to do some watch shopping later.

Is the Old Man better then Flying Fish Bone? We loved that place last year & are looking for something new this time.

We never dined at the Flyhing Fishbone - but from what I hear, they pack the tables together and it isn't all that private.

OM&TS was extremely romantic. We had lots of room between tables and it was gorgeous.

Worth a try if you already did flying fishbone.

I was impressed by Passions and felt the food was better than OM&TS.
