Thumbs up Finding your way just got a bit easier.

As most people know, finding a certain address in Aruba can sometimes be challenging.

A new service now show the location on a satellite map. It seem to cover relatively well, but far from perfect, but it is a good start.

It will certainly make it easier for us to find certain businesses, areas and even private addresses.

Try it out here http://www.arubabestpages.com/

P.S. As you can see below, it seems like you are required to use IE7 or Firefox to use the service.

Carsten I tried getting into this website the other day and again just now. Everytime I do it just freezes up in the browser and I am unable to get the page to open. No problems with other websites.

Beginner trouble for the site

Hi Lisa

What browser do you use?. I just double tested it in Internet Explorer 7.0.6xx as well as Firefox 3.0.10 and works fine in both.

Maybe you need a browser update or it could also be a Java update.

The site is very helpful, but not very professionally done technically. I even emailed them to suggest some changes, but even their email did not work.

I know they are new, so hopefully they will get it better over time, as it is really really helpful.

Let me know if you get it working.

Carsten

Thanks Carsten. I'm not a fan of IE 7 so am still using 6 and too lazy to ever get around to downloading Firefox after my last computer crash and re-format. Will try it on one of the other 'puters laying around here which have IE 7 & FF.

This should make internet real estate searches a little more effective.
