beverly's downtown, ask for victor he is the owner. we have bought many pieces from him over the years and have never had a problem. when appraised back in the state they are always exactly what he says they are and worth much more than what we payed.

we've been fortunate to visit for the past 15 years and obviously LOVE the island! i'm from boston and we have excellent stores here but i must say, i've been able to buy some wonderful bauble every year from Columbian Emeralds downtown. they are very honest, reputable and helpful. they give you the authentic certificate/appraisal that insurance companies back home accept. they are a quality shop with well-trained staff. i've bought gold, diamond rings and rubies from there. good luck and have fun! sue

I cant recall the exact name of the Jewler, but I give the location. It is right in the heart of Town in the Parking lot on the left side of Mcdonalds. If you park there or across the street you will see 2 Jewlers side by side (go to the one on the right). I have been going to aruba for 11 years and researched & purchased many items and this Shop is the best. I also go to Columbian Emeralds as well for some items but this other one will Haggle down the price much more.

Gandelmans especially downtown in Oranjestad - I buy every year from them when I vacation in Aruba - this will be my fourth time in last five years

Pearl Gem- the owner is Robin and his jewelry is beautiful. I really liked his knowledge of durable stones and settings, etc. No Hard Sell.
