years ago.......sometime in the late 1990s we were staying at the Tamarijn over Christmas/New Years.
We were on the beach and heard explosions of firecrackers...........but we had no idea they were firecrackers.
We thought "could this be a coup d'etat?"

We all ran out onto the street in front of Tamarijan and there was a littered mess of firecracker papers/remains.
    It was UNBELIEVABLE.

We have been on Aruba 5 or 6 times over Christmas/New Years since then and ALWAYS love to see and hear the fireworks, firecrackers and the excitement that goes along with it.
