Ok. When we arrive in Atlanta, do we have to go back thru security and check our bags again. Or will it already be on our boarding pass?

Are you flying the same airline for both legs of your flights? Which airline?

    Atlanta to Aruba

    no
your boarding passes will be straight thru, 2 of them.....your origination city to atl and then another boarding pass atl to aruba

once you check your luggage from your point of origination airport you will not see them again til you arrive on aruba.

same way for the flight home

(all of this is providing you are using the same airline, which you said you were)

In Atlanta, once you exit your plane, you just need to find the nearest flight display to see what your concourse and gate of departure are for your flight to Aruba. Then simply follow the signs. It is is very well marked. If you need to change concourses you will need to take the subway like train to the appropriate concourse. It is very easy as long as you pay attention and follow the signs.

If you are flying Delta, they use concourses T, A & B. In June we departed from concourse T and arrived back from Aruba at concourse B.

We are going to take $2,000 with us. Will that be enough? Our resort fee is $300, Jet-Ski $120. We do plan on buying some groceries and eating out for dinner every night.
