Hey all!! I will be traveling to Aruba for the first time at the end of August! I'm so excited, especially after reading all these wonderful reviews. So just wondering, I am a it of a picky eater. I definitely want to try some Aruban cuisine, but can anyone recommend any restaurants that have more American platters? Thanks a bunch!!

All of the restaurants are great and to be quite honest. I think you will find it very easy to find food on most of the menu's at every restaurant. Your hotel/timeshare should have a book with all of the menu's of every restaurant so you can see what they specialize in for dinner. I too am very picky and while I dont mind trying the Islands special food and dishes that they make, I still look forward to Fish/Steak/and Italian Food! I am going back for two weeks in October and we eat at restaurants almost every night! The Island has sense of America there, except that its beautiful everywhere, feels very safe and 99% of the people are extremely nice! You will absoulutely love it! I am a Jamaica junky and went to Aruba once and fell in love with it and now I am going back for two weeks! have a great time. Madame Jeanette's, it is outrageous. But reserve early. They have everything.

Madame Janette's is the best...continental cuisine.
Tango's has great steak.
El Gaucho's has great steak but is very noisy.

One of my favor resturant is SunSet Grill locate at Radisson Resort, is $$$$ but it worth it when you visit Aruba. We love it so much , we are staying this resort during 8/8 to 8/14 .Also Radisson offern All you can eat buffet for $19.95 to Sept. Different cuisine. I can't wait to try Le Dome and El Gaucho

Definitely try Fishes and More, right next to Tango. We tried it for the first time this year and loved it. Super fresh fish, awesome service. Can't wait to get back - it's our first stop next trip!

I am also a picky eater drives the wife nuts.You will have no problem as recomended MJs is the best in aruba one of my favorites anywhere

If you're picky stick to places like Iguana Joe's, Tony Romas and Smokey Joes. If you like seafood go to the Aqua Grill. I think it has the best seafood, great ambiance. It is a little pricey but worth it. Also Driftwood is a great restaurant as well. Honestly every dining experience was great in Aruba and I went last year and tried some new places this year
