Gas in Aruba is sold in liters not Gallons. A liter is about 39 ounces so 4 liters is a little over 1 Gallon. I am not sure of the price per liter, but I just returned from 2 weeks on Aruba and I used a rental car (Toyota Yaris) for the entire time. It cost me $30US to fill the tank when we returned the car. I think we drove about 150 miles during the trip. Assuming the car got about 25 miles/gallon, that translates to about $5.00/gallon.

Gas is $2.07 per liter, Florin price. Roughly, it is $6.37 US dollars for four liters of gas which is a little more than a gallon. Most cars are small and do not use a lot of gas. In the nine days I rented a car, I paid $33.00 in fuel for a total cost of just over $25.00 per day for my transportantion needs. (I estimate my total driving at about 100 miles while on the island.

I rented a jeep and stopped to top it off before I started my day and I gave the attendant 10.00 dollars then pumped the fuel. I thought that was hardly anything and started to drive away, I got about 10 feet from the pump and stopped and packed up, I thought, hey this pump is in florins not dollars and at that time the lady came out, I asked this is in florins correct? she said yes $10.00 cash is 17.50 florins. She did not say that inside. Could have been mistake. At the end of the day I bought gas at the texaco on 4a/b two blocks away from the Mill, I paid with a credit card, same amount and the pump shut off at 17.00 florins. There is an exchange difference between cash and credit.

gas price

The higher it got was 2.07 florins. Around $1.20 per liter or $4,53 per gallon.
Gas prices are kind of regulated by the Government.
