NBL - Good for you that you have decided to go to Aruba on your own. You will definitely unwind, relax and De-stress there. How many days there before your sister arrives? Where are you staying? That will give us a clue to give you some suggestions. People are very friendly there so while you are there alone, you can always start a conversation with another tourist near by. Hi my name is ____ - where are you from? This is always a good starter question. Then it leads to - is this your first time on the Island or are you a regular?
Locals are also extremely friendly and you can just say Hi, my name is _____. I am here for a week - any suggestions on what I should do or see? Good Luck to you - I think you will have a great time. Best Wishes on your Birthday!...Cheryl |

NBL - Welcome aboard and as everyone emphasized the people are the key. The locals make you feel like you are home, and the tourist become the same way, that is why it is so easy to make friends and not feel alone. Enjoy, I bet by the time you come home, you will be making reservation for next year.
