Good News for Bostonions

Just read in USA today, effective 30 Jun, JETBLUE will offer non stop service to ARUBA on Saturdays. We already have non-stop on Delta from Atlanta

Re: Good News for Bostonions

I read that as well! I did a fake itinerary in July flying to Aruba, and the prices were very reasonable. It's nice to know there is another airline that will fly direct during the summer months. AA, from what I've seen, does not.

Re: Good News for Bostonions

FINALLY- we have been hoping for this...went on line to view flights...but they did have stop overs>> which is weird because they advertise non-stop. We leave 5/5 for two weeks non-stop on USAIR cheaper than Jet Blue is advertising...but I'm sure after they get everything full they will then start going non-stop....we definitely will use Jet Blue next year (hopefully they'll still be going)....finally some competition for AA and USAIR.....Aruba here we come!!

Re: Good News for Bostonions

I found Jetblue to be double any other airline. Just the flight home was 499.00 per person! for 4 people it would be 2k just to get home...we are paying 1700.00 for all 4 roundtrip. They are EXTREMELY expensive and I dont conisder them any kind of competition for me. I would never pay 3k for nonstop for 4 people when I can get there a couple hours later for half the price! Just my thoughts!!

American has reinstated their non-stop from Boston to Aruba starting again in the fall.

Re: Good News for Bostonions

I too find JetBlue to be expensive for the most part, even though the fake itinerary to Aruba was very reasonable. We are going to Florida in May, and I got a r/t ticket per person for $217 with Delta. JetBlue wanted about $248.

I do know that AA reinstates their non-stop flights in the fall, however, since they don't appear to fly non-stop to Aruba in the spring and summer, I'm sure they'll find some good competition out there like US Air and Jet Blue.

Re: Good News for Bostonions

I can't believe how inexpensive the flights are direct from Boston. We have always flown to Aruba on AA and US. We are thinking about a July trip. Will we be o.k. on Jetblue?
